Melbourne City have signed emerging midfielder Riley McGree on a one-year loan deal for the next A-League season.
McGree joins City on loan from Belgium's Club Brugge.
The 19-year-old went to Belgium in July last year after playing for A-League outfit Adelaide United.
He then returned to the A-League as an injury-replacement player for Newcastle Jets.
The Australian under-age representative said he was thrilled to join City.
"I could see that this club is going places and I want to be here winning more trophies," McGree said on Wednesday.
"I came here for the professionalism of the club, the high-quality facilities and coaching staff and players.
"Now I want to get a good pre-season under my belt, have a good season and develop myself as a player."
