Liverpool have confirmed the signing of young defender Tony Gallacher from Falkirk.
Gallacher, 18, has completed the move that is initially worth £200,000, sources have told ESPN FC, and is viewed as a player for the future at Liverpool.
After signing a contract at the Merseyside club, Gallacher will now join up with Neil Critchley's under-23 side with a view of progression to the first team.
The left-back had been at Falkirk, who play in Scotland's second tier, since the age of 10 and had made 26 first-team appearances in total.

Falkirk manager Paul Hartley told the Scottish Championship club's website: "This is an incredible opportunity for Tony. It's not very often that a move like this comes about and I am really pleased that he has been given the chance to go down there and prove what a great young talent he is.
"We are not a club that would stand in a player's way when an opportunity like this presents itself and Tony leaves with our very best wishes."
Gallacher has represented Scotland at youth level across various age groups.
