Brooks Lennon will join Real Salt Lake on a permanent transfer from Liverpool, a source confirmed to ESPN FC's Jeff Carlisle.
The 20-year-old joined RSL on loan from the Premier League club at the beginning of the year and will now stay in MLS, as first reported by Goal on Monday.
Lennon scored three goals and added four assists in 25 league appearances last season, including 15 starts.
The winger also impressed at the Under-20 World Cup, scoring twice while helping the U.S. reach the quarterfinals.
Lennon is a product of RSL's academy, which was formerly based in his native Arizona. After moving to Liverpool in 2015 he played with the under-23s, though he never appeared for the first team.
Lennon is one of seven academy products currently on RSL's roster. Defender Aaron Herrera signed a homegrown deal last Friday after starring for the University of New Mexico.
