Ever Banega is returning to Sevilla after one season away with Inter Milan, both clubs announced on Tuesday.
The Argentina international joined Inter as a free agent last summer, but Sevilla will now reacquire him for a deal reportedly worth €9 million.
The deal is only pending a medical before he signs a three-year contract.
Banega scored six goals and provided six more assists from 20 Serie A appearances with Inter but is set to return to the club he helped to win the 2014-15 and 2015-16 Europa League titles.
During his first spell with Sevilla, Banega scored eight goals and provided five assists in 43 La Liga appearances.
The move means the 28-year-old will not be moving to Paris Saint-Germain under Unai Emery, who was reportedly keen to be reunited with Banega after their time together at Sevilla.
