Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Antero Henrique's restructuring of the French capital outfit looks set to continue with Joao Luis Afonso expected to join the club as recruitment chief after leaving Turkish side Antalyaspor.
Henrique, 49, and Afonso, 50, both worked together for the best part of a decade after the latter joined FC Porto in 2006 and the pair were responsible for signing the likes of Radamel Falcao, James Rodriguez, Hulk and reported free agent target Pepe.
"Chief scout Joao Luis Afonso, who joined us from Portugal's FC Porto, has moved to Paris Saint-Germain," an Antalyaspor statement said. "We wish to thank him for all he has done for the club and we wish him much success in his new role."
The arrival of the Portuguese has not been made official by PSG yet, but reports indicate Afonso will take up his new role soon.
Eric Pecout, Adrien Tarascon and Luis Ferrer, who are already part of Les Parisiens' recruitment department, are expected to remain with the club once Afonso is in place.
