The Portland Timbers have agreed a deal with former Paris Saint-Germain defender Larrys Mabiala, according to The Oregonian.
Mabiala, 29, will reportedly join up with the team next month and can make his MLS debut once the secondary transfer window opens on July 10.
The DR Congo international will serve as a replacement for Gbenga Arokoyo, who was lost for the year with an Achilles injury before the season began.
Mabiala moves from Kayserispor in Turkey where he spent the past two seasons after moving from Karabukspor.
He came up through the PSG youth system and made three appearances for the senior team before transferring to Nice in 2009.
