Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Christoph Kramer has said fans who whistle the team should "get a Bratwurst" or "move to Munich" instead.
Kramer spoke out after players were whistled during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Augsburg, when a last-minute goal by Andre Hahn kept Gladbach's chances of reaching the Europa League next season alive.
Sections of the support made it clear they were not happy with the performance of Dieter Hecking's team, and Kramer said the reaction was not helpful to the more inexperienced players.
He told reporters: "It's of no use to anyone that there were whistles.
"Whistling at them [the young players] is not any help. If you want to be entertained, you should move to Munich or go on DSDS [Germany's version of American Idol], or go and get a Bratwurst.
"But don't whistle. This does annoy me."
