FC Rostov centre-back Miha Mevlja is unfazed about his team's chances against Premier League giants Manchester United in Thursday's Europa League second-leg clash.
Jose Mourinho's side holds a slender advantage over the Russians thanks to the 1-1 draw in Rostov last week, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan's opener being cancelled out by Aleksandr Bukharov's equaliser.
Mevlja, however, remains bullish that the Russian Premier League can cause an upset and advance to the quarterfinals.
"Our key player is the team," Mevlja told ESPN FC in an exclusive interview.
"As I have already said, if we will show this on the field, I am not worried at all about our chances.
"I think we just have to stick to our plan. As soon as we manage to do this, we will have a chance to pass to the next round.
"However, we have to play our best game of the season so far."
Slovenia international Mevlja will be responsible for keeping Zlatan Ibrahimovic quiet on Thursday. The Manchester United striker has been on fire since moving to Old Trafford from Paris Saint-Germain for free in the summer, scoring 15 goals in 25 appearances for his new club.
"Zlatan is one of those players who make the biggest difference in Manchester United's team," Mevlja said.
"We all know what Zlatan is capable of. We must keep our concentration on a high level in our defensive line.
"Personally, I can say that it is a big challenge to play against players like him."
