Inter's Andrea Ranocchia 'receiving a lot of interest' from Premier League

Inter Milan are currently considering offers from the Premier League for Andrea Ranocchia, according to Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio.

Ranocchia, 28, has made just five appearances this season and was left out of the squad entirely for Saturday's 3-1 win over Chievo. His future appears to be away from Italy and Ausilio confirmed as much in an interview with Mediaset.

"Ranocchia is still receiving a lot of interest from England and we will talk with him about whether he wants to be getting more of a game, or whether he wants to stay at Inter and try his luck here," Ausilio said. "If this is what he wants, then we will be absolutely happy to keep him, otherwise we will find a solution together with him and his advisors."

Watford and West Ham United are understood to be two of the teams tracking the former Italy international who last represented his country in a 4-1 friendly defeat to Germany last March.

Meanwhile, Ausilio confirmed Inter will not listen to offers for Eder or Gabriel "Gabigol" Barbosa.

"We've been very clear that we are not going to make any more signings. While a few things could happen with youngsters leaving, we're not going to consider offers for our important players, and those two names are important and they have shown it with their performances," Ausilio said.

"Behind Inter's wins there is not just the starting XI but above all the players who come off the bench and are decisive, like Eder and [Rodrigo] Palacio in our last games, for example, and I am sure this will also be the case soon with Gabigol."
