Eintracht Frankfurt extended the contracts of U.S. defender Timothy Chandler and Japan midfielder Makoto Hasebe on Tuesday.
Chandler, 26, had been in the final season of a three-year deal he signed in 2014, but now has tied his future to his hometown club until 2020.
He had told reporters last week that he was eager to sort out a new deal before the winter break.
"I want to tell my wife where we will live in the future so I can sleep better again," Chandler said.
Chandler was a fixture in the United States national team under former coach Jurgen Klinsmann, though he has also confirmed he is part of new boss Bruce Arena's plans as well.
Hasebe, 32, signed a one-year extension tying him to Frankfurt until 2018.
The defensive midfielder captained Japan at both the 2010 and 2014 World Cups.
