The footballing world has come to know Michy Batshuayi by his alter ego: Batsman. The Belgian's social-media persona has long pushed this riff on DC Comics' greatest superhero.
So it should come as little surprise to see Valencia's Caped Crusader wearing a pair of Adidas X18s with Batman logos on the heels against Manchester United in the Champions League on Wednesday.
But the 25-year-old wasn't as interested in promoting his Dark Knight persona as he was in highlighting another of Phil Jones' famous faces captured in the social media post highlighting Batshuayi's custom kicks.
And we can't blame him.
Glad you like guys... but can we talk about Phil Jones face first ? 😂 #anotherone https://t.co/dLUjQw5Uh8

With just three goals in 19 appearances for Valencia this season, the club is surely flashing the Bat Signal at all hours of the night in hopes of their hero rescuing the city.
So Batshuayi deflecting that spotlight on another one of Jones' Joker faces seems like the right move.
