Earlier in the week, Memphis Depay treated us all to a rap video in which he celebrated passing five million followers on Instagram.
Filmed on a Parisian rooftop, the Dutchman jigged around in an expensive velvet coat and toked on a large cigar while boasting about various aspects of his lavish lifestyle, as rappers tend to do.
The former Manchester United forward, now at French club Lyon, earned what can be best described as mixed reviews for his performance.
Taking up the baton, Motherwell defender Charles Dunne has since recorded his very own parody of Depay's Insta-rap, swapping the Eiffel Tower for the Ferris wheel at the M&D amusement park in Strathclyde.
"I'm a football rapper from Motherwell, brought this jacket in a Primark sale," spits Dunne -- or "Chilli D" to give him his proper rap name.
"Don't play my football in France, but yo Memphis at least I can dance."
With tongue in cheek, Chilli also brags about spending ยฃ10 on a Casio watch and having a perfectly respectable 4,000 followers on Instagram.
In fairness, Dunne's mic skills earned favourable reviews from the experts at BBC Radio 1xtra, who praised the 25-year-old for his authenticity and his ability to actually rap on beat.
In all honesty, when it comes to Memphis versus Chilli D, we know which one we'd back in a rap battle.
