Spain rallied with two late goals to salvage a 2-2 draw with England in a friendly at Wembley on Tuesday.
Adam Lallana opened the scoring for England from the penalty spot, the Liverpool man playing a whipped-in pass to spring Jamie Vardy in Spain's penalty area, and he was taken down by Pepe Reina with the referee pointing immediately to the spot.
Lallana stepped up and calmly fired home past Reina to put England up 1-0. It was the third goal in as many international matches for Lallana, who was subbed off minutes later for Theo Walcott after picking up what appeared to be an injury.
England seemed to be in control after doubling their lead just after the break, with Vardy timing his run onto a Jordan Henderson cross perfectly and diving to head home past a helpless Reina.
But in the 89th minute, Iago Aspas pulled one back for the visitors after running with the ball at John Stones and curling a shot into the top corner.
And the comeback was complete as Isco found an equaliser deep into stoppage time, bringing Dani Carvajal's pass down on his chest before beating Tom Heaton at his near post to stun the Wembley crowd.
