Liverpool youngster Allan Rodriguez de Souza has joined German side Hertha Berlin on loan, the Reds have confirmed.
Allan, 19, will spend the 2016-17 season with the Bundesliga club in order to continue his development.
Liverpool have decided to send the Brazil under-20 international out on a temporary basis because he does not yet qualify for a UK work permit.
Allan, who joined Liverpool from Internacional in September, had two spells on loan last season, joining SJK in Finland before moving to Belgian side Sint-Truiden.
He has only appeared for Liverpool in friendlies for the under-21s or behind-closed-door games at the club's Melwood training ground.
However, he has done enough to catch the eye of manager Jurgen Klopp, who said in March: "I saw him in training and I thought: 'Oh my God, what can we do to keep this boy here and bring him into the line-up?'
"He's 19 years old, an outstanding talent, a good player with a good attitude, everybody loves him, he's a nice lad -- so that's really, really good. He's a smart player.
"We hope we can find a solution in the future because he will be a fixed part of the squad in the future, for sure."
