SV Meppen had major beef with Carl Zeiss Jena after what can only be described as shenanigans went down in their German third-division match on Saturday.
Trailing 2-0 in the 57th minute, Carl Zeiss Jena's Julian Guenther-Schmidt went down after a 50-50 challenge with an opponent. As he briefly lay on the ground from the clash, a gentlemanly Meppen player held up the ball, seemingly stopping play so Guenther-Schmidt could receive medical attention.
And that's when all heck broke loose.
With the entire Meppen team having stopped in anticipation of a pause in proceedings, Soeren Eismann -- he of no chill -- stole the ball off the foot of his kindly opponent, raced forward and slotted past the Meppen goalkeeper to make the score 2-1.

Oh, no he didn't?
Oh, yes he did!
And as you can imagine, that didn't go down so well with the Meppen players, who chased after Eismann while levelling a bevy of shoves and, we imagine, none-too-kind words onto the 29-year-old German.
Sorry, not sorry.
But of course, Meppen would eventually work past the incident, dust themselves and hold on for a hard-earned and much-deserved victory, right?
Nope.
Carl Zeiss Jena instead went on to score a later equaliser, making it an all-around miserable day for poor old Meppen.
