New Lazio left-back Jordan Lukaku has said that one of the main reasons he moved to Italy was to improve the defensive side of his game.
Lukaku, 22, completed a switch from Belgian top-flight club KV Oostende last week in a deal said to be worth €5 million.
The younger brother of Everton striker Romelu, he was part of a Belgium defence that was cut apart by Wales in a 3-1 loss at the Euro 2016 quarterfinals.
Lukaku is hoping that a move to Serie A will help him become a better defender.

"It's a big club with lots of passion around it," Belga quoted Lukaku as telling a news conference in Rome on Thursday. "I chose Lazio because I'll be able to improve a lot here.
"The recruiters know me for my offensive potential but thanks to this new team and this league I will be able to improve a lot defensively."
Lukaku signed a three-year contract with Lazio and he feels he has already benefitted from training with the team that finished eighth in Serie A last season.
"Italian football is tactical," he said. "We have a coach who's exclusively looking after the defence and tells me what I should do when we're attacking and when we're defending. Everything is a lot more detailed."
