Atletico Madrid are to sign goalkeeper Axel Werner this summer according to the Argentina under-23 international's current club, Atletico Rafaela.
Werner is in the Albiceleste squad for next month's Olympics in Rio de Janeiro along with Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli.
The 20-year-old and the rest of the Argentina Olympic team are training in Miami and Mexico in preparation for their first match at the Games in Brazil against Portugal on Aug. 4.

Atletico Madrid have Jan Oblak firmly established as their No. 1 goalkeeper, with the Slovenia international starting all of the club's league and European matches last season as they finished second in La Liga and reached the final of the Champions League.
Atletico have helped develop the burgeoning careers of Thibaut Courtois, David De Gea and Sergio Asenjo is recent years, making the Estadio Vicente Calderon a suitable potential destination for Werner.
