Bournemouth sign Lys Mousset on four-year deal from Le Havre

AFC Bournemouth and Le Havre have agreed terms for the transfer of striker Lys Mousset for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old Frenchman has signed a four-year contract with the Cherries after impressed as part of the Le Havre side that narrowly missed out on promotion to Ligue 1.

Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake earmarked Mousset as a player for the future. He said: "Lys is another player with great potential that we are delighted to bring to the football club."

"We're always planning for the future and Lys is not only a young player with exciting potential, but someone who had a massive impact for their club last season."

Mousset was part of the France Under-20 side that reached the final of the Toulon Tournament this summer, losing 2-1 to England.

Mousset follows Nathan Ake and Emerson Hyndman into the club. Chelsea defender Ake signing on a season-long loan deal and 20-year-old U.S. midfielder Hyndman penning a four-year contract from Fulham.
