Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has laid into Everton centre-back Ramiro Funes Mori for his antics after getting sent off in the 4-0 loss in the Merseyside derby.
Goals from Divock Origi, Mamadou Sakho, Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho sealed the three points for Jurgen Klopp's side at Anfield, but it was the unsavoury second-half incident that got the headlines.
The defender was shown a straight red in the 50tth minute for a dangerous tackle on Liverpool's Origi, which saw the youngster taken off on a stretcher.
Funes Mori incurred the wrath of the Anfield faithful when he gestured to beat the Everton badge on his chest, while making his way off the pitch.
"He has let himself down with the challenge," Carragher told Sky Sports.
"It happens in football. I've made bad challenges and other players have made bad challenges, but going off the pitch he was kissing his badge to the Everton fans.
"It helped Liverpool get more goals, but why was he kissing the badge?
"Number one, he has only been here for two minutes and number two, why is he playing to the crowd because he has injured a Liverpool player? Are they going to be happy with that?
"They were getting battered in the game and he's now going to miss the biggest game of the season when they've got [Phil] Jagielka out.
"It's embarrassing. What is he doing? Everton fans won't fall for that nonsense.
"It was the only challenge anyone put in by the way, but it was a bad one."
Funes Mori's straight red means he will be suspended for Everton's next three games, including their FA Cup semifinal against Manchester United on April 24.
