Rumours rated: Hysaj to Man United, Oscar to Inter, Sturridge to leave

How do you separate transfer facts from fiction? David Amoyal looks at some of the current rumours and predicts how likely it is that the proposed moves actually happen.

Elseid Hysaj to Manchester United: 30 percent

There is a clear need for quality wing-backs at Old Trafford, and the 22-year-old Albanian player would be a perfect fit. After establishing himself as one of the very best right-backs in Serie A at Napoli last season, Hysaj continued to make a name for himself at Euro 2016 with Albania. His performances earned him a new contract, with an exit clause of €50 million, valid only for clubs outside of Italy. A move in January may be premature but next summer the two clubs could find an agreement, with United's Matteo Darmian potentially lowering the value of the exit clause.

Alex Sandro to Manchester City: 20 percent

City continue to be interested in Juventus defenders. After pursuing Leonardo Bonucci last summer, they are now looking to sign Brazilian wing-back Sandro, who has taken the next step in his development in Serie A. However, with Patrice Evra in the twilight of his career, Juventus have no intention of letting their starting left-back leave. The player would have to push for a move for negotiations to even begin. City previously tried to sign Sandro when his contract with Porto was set to expire, but Juventus spent around £22m to outbid them. Should he leave they would want to make a considerable profit.

Julian Draxler to leave Wolfsburg: 55 percent

While most public quotes on transfers should be taken with a pinch of salt, Wolfsburg director Klaus Allofs is known as a straight talker. He recently claimed things had changed with Draxler and should a good offer arrive, they would be open to selling him. The 23-year-old German international has really struggled this season but he still has suitors in Premier League as well as Juventus, who have an excellent relationship with Draxler's family.

Oscar to Inter Milan: 25 percent

The change in formation at Chelsea has proven to be costly for Oscar. The midfielder has lost his place following Antonio Conte's shift to 3-4-3 and could leave London during the January window. While he has been linked to Inter Milan, it's more likely their ownership group Suning sends him to their Chinese Super League club, Jiangsu Suning. Oscar could earn considerable sums in China and then eventually head to Inter later down the line, should Ivan Perisic be sold.

Leandro Paredes to Arsenal: 25 percent

After Liverpool scouted him last season while he was on loan at Empoli, the Argentine midfielder is now on the Gunners' radar. Paredes, 22, fits the profile of type of player Arsene Wenger is willing to invest in. But it will be difficult to acquire Paredes in January since Roma face plenty of uncertainty in midfield. Kevin Strootman and Radja Nainggolan are looking for new deals, Daniele De Rossi has an expiring contract and Alesandro Florenzi is recovering from a knee injury.

Carlos Tevez to Atlanta United: 40 percent

Between Boca Juniors' failure to qualify for the next Copa Libertadores and Tata Martino's appointment as Atlanta's first manager, Tevez could be playing in MLS next season. The former Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus striker isn't expected to return to Europe, and while he has hinted he could retire it's possible he will follow the example of his former teammate Andrea Pirlo and move to America.

Federico Bernardeschi to Chelsea: 35 perdent

The talented 22-year-old winger would be a perfect fit in Chelsea's 3-4-3 formation and he would be reunited with Conte, who gave him his debut with the Italian national team. Bernardeschi has been frustrated with how Fiorentina's manager Paulo Sousa has used him this season and while big moves across different leagues are fairly rare in January, Chelsea previously acquired Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina in the 2015 winter transfer window.

Daniel Sturridge to leave Liverpool in January: 5 percent

While the 27-year-old striker previously left Manchester City and Chelsea in search of game time, Sturridge's situation at Anfield is likely to change radically once Sadio Mane leaves for the African Nations Cup in January. The only way Sturridge departs Liverpool in January would be if the Reds found an adequate replacement to help them in the title race.

Ravel Morrison back to England: 55 percent

The former Manchester United prospect has struggled to adapt to life in Italy. Morrison has only appeared in eight matches in all competitions since joining Lazio in the summer of 2015 and he has yet to appear in a game this season. The January transfer window could give him the opportunity for a fresh start. Morrison has been linked to West Ham, Aston Villa, Hull and Newcastle and considering that Lazio acquired him on a free transfer, it wouldn't take much to sign him.
