Bolton have confirmed the signing of free agent Eidur Gudjohnsen on a deal until the end of the 2014-15 season.
Gudjohnsen, 36, has been training with the Championship club for nearly a month and played 90 minutes for the Under-21s on Monday.

Wanderers boss Neil Lennon has now decided to make the move permanent, confirming a return to the north-west for Gudjohnsen.
The former Iceland international played for Bolton between 1998 and 2000, scoring 27 goals in 77 appearances, before moving to Chelsea, where he won two Premier League titles.
He also played for Barcelona, where he won La Liga and the Champions League.
Gudjohnsen -- who played for Club Brugge last season -- will wear the No.22 shirt, and could be joined at Bolton by Lennon's former Leicester teammate Emile Heskey, who was invited to train with the Trotters this week.
The club have applied for international clearance in order for Gudjohnsen striker to feature away to Reading this weekend.
