Ronaldo scores stunner, misses penalty in Al Nassr rout

Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty and scored a screamer as Al Nassr maintained their unbeaten start to the Saudi Pro League season with a 5-1 thumping of Al Fateh.

The 40-year-old rattled the bar in the first half and got the chance to put his side back in front when Al Nassr were awarded a penalty for handball early in the second half.

Ronaldo's relatively tame effort was well saved down to his left by Ameen Al-Bukhari, but the Portuguese superstar responded almost immediately grab his side's second goal.

This time Al-Bukhari stood no chance as Ronaldo unleashed a rocket from the right corner of the box that flew past the goalkeeper and sparked wild celebrations that led to him being booked for taking off his shirt.

Ronaldo's wonder goal sandwiched two strikes from João Félix, and after Kingsley Coman had grabbed Al Nassr's fourth, Félix duly completed his second hat trick of the season after Sadio Mane's initial effort was blocked on the line.
