Juventus avoided a nightmare finish to their week after they salvaged a 3-3 draw against Roma in Serie A.

Federico Gatti equalised in stoppage time -- after he had just come on -- to ensure that Juventus would not lose their third game in nine days, including elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Galatasaray earlier this week.

Wesley França put the hosts ahead before the break with a superb curling effort, before it was goals aplenty in the second half.

Francisco Conceição's equaliser was a peach of a half-volley from the edge of the area -- the standout goal of the evening.

Evan Ndicka restored Roma's lead from a corner, meeting a cross from Lorenzo Pellegrini, to put Roma ahead once again 2-1.

Donyell Malen doubled the advantage just over 10 minutes later, as Manu Koné picked out the Dutchman with an inch-perfect ball from his own half. Malen finished with a dink after a one-on-one against Mattia Perin.

But Juventus didn't roll over as Jérémie Boga reduced the arrears, after a cross to the far post was poorly cleared by Roma, allowing Boga to rifle home from close range.

Luciano Spaletti's side had the momentum as they chased an equaliser, and it was Gatti from the bench who got it.

A free-kick in stoppage time was flicked on by Weston McKennie into the six-yard box, and it was Gatti who reacted quickest to make it 3-3.

Juventus remain in the mix for Champions League qualification with the point, but extended their winless league streak to four matches.
