Inter Miami concluded the Central American portion of the 2025 preseason tour with a stunning 5-0 win over Olimpia at the Olímpico Metropolitano in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Lionel Messi opened the scoring with a goal in the 27th minute, combining with longtime teammate Luis Suárez before firing a left-footed strike into the back of the net. Federico Redondo and Noah Allen then widened the lead in the first half to give Miami a comfortable lead heading into the break.

The Herons wasted no time adding to their tally, with a goal from Suárez making it four just minutes into the second half. The Uruguayan found his way into the box with the help from Benjamin Cremaschi and placed the ball into the center of the net.

The final goal of the night came from Ryan Sailor after receiving the ball from Leo Alfonso.

New Inter Miami head coach Javier Mascherano made several changes once the game reached the 60th minute mark, among them Messi, Suárez and Sergio Busquets in order for players to rest before the final preseason game of the year.

Jordi Alba was notably absent from the match after training separately from the team during the week, while new signing Gonzalo Luján earned his debut when being substituted into the match in the second half.

The Herons head into the match against Orlando City on Feb. 14 with four preseason victories, defeating Club America and Universitario on penalties before triumphing 3-1 against Sporting San Miguelito and 5-0 over Olimpia.
