Yazmeen Ryan scored in the third minute to lead NJ/NY Gotham FC to a 1-0 victory over the Utah Royals at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, on Sunday. The win secured Gotham FC's spot in the postseason for the second consecutive year.

Ryan's left-footed shot from the center of the box found its way into the bottom left corner, thanks to an assist from Lynn Williams. It was Ryan's fourth goal of the season and set an early tone for Gotham (13-4-4), who dominated possession throughout much of the match.
