Maycee Bell converted Jenna Nighswonger's cross into a goal in the 98th minute as NJ/NY Gotham FC secured a 2-1 victory over San Diego Wave FC at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, on Wednesday.

Gotham's Rose Lavelle scored the game's first goal in first-half stoppage time on an assist from Katie Stengel. San Diego Wave equalized when Mya Jones scored in the 48th minute with a left-footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom right corner. 

Gotham's Crystal Dunn and Delanie Sheehan both had multiple attempts saved by San Diego goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan.
