Gotham FC, Racing Louisville FC draw 1-1 in intense match

Reilyn Turner scored for Racing Louisville FC in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time, only for Rose Lavelle to equalize two minutes later for NJ/NY Gotham FC in a 1-1 draw on Sunday at Red Bull Arena.

Gotham goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger saved two subsequent shots by Emma Sears to preserve the draw.

Turner's goal was an unassisted right-footed shot from close range, and Lavelle's was a right-footed shot to the right corner off an assist by Ella Stevens. 

Ary Borges had opportunities for Racing Louisville in the first half, missing on a shot in the 19th minute from outside the box and having a shot blocked by Berger.
