Blue Brazil beat Brechin to ease relegation fears
Cowdenbeath's resurgence continued with a third straight win that eased their relegation fears as substitute Chris Kane struck with five minutes to go in a 2-1 victory over bottom club Brechin.The hosts had led inside 35 seconds but needed Kane's late contribution to make sure of the points having been pegged back with 20 minutes remaining.Greig Spence gave the Blue Brazil the perfect start with a close-range finish moments after the contest, which passed an 11am pitch inspection, kicked off. It remained 1-0 until the 70th minute when Lewis Spence turned home Jamie Robson's cross for the equaliser.However, Cowdenbeath would muster a later winner as Kane came off the bench to head in Declan Hughes' delivery in the 85th minute.
