Harden has 6 K's in 4-plus innings

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Chicago Cubs right-hander Rich Harden threw four-plus innings in a rehab start for Triple-A Iowa on Monday.

Harden, on the disabled list since May 18 with a mid-back strain, struck out six and allowed three hits and two walks in the Iowa Cubs' 10-3 win over the Round Rock Express.

He was removed in the fifth inning after throwing 70 pitches, including 44 for strikes.

Harden has been on two stints on the disabled list in as many seasons with the Cubs. The Oakland A's traded the 27-year-old to the Cubs on July 8, 2008.
