FIFA president Gianni Infantino announced on Wednesday the eight host cities for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil.

U.S. Soccer CEO JT Batson said the federation would strongly support expansion of the Women's World Cup to 48 teams in 2031.

Gianni Infantino said the United States and the United Kingdom are poised to be named as hosts of the Women's World Cup in 2031 and 2035, respectively.
