All Blacks: Will Jordan, Leroy Carter, Billy Proctor, Jordie Barrett, Caleb Clarke, Beauden Barrett, Cam Roigard, Wallace Sititi, Ardie Savea, Simon Parker, Tupou Vaa'I, Fabian Holland, Tyrel Lomax, Codie Taylor, Ethan de Groot.
Replacements: Samisoni Taukei'aho, Tamaiti Williams, Fletcher Newell, Patrick Tuipulotu, Peter Lakai, Cortez Ratima, Quinn Tupaea, Damian McKenzie.
Wallabies: Max Jorgensen, Harry Potter, Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii, Len Ikitau, Corey Toole, James O'Connor, Tate McDermott, Harry Wilson, Fraser McReight, Tom Hooper, Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, Nick Frost, Taniela Tupou, Billy Pollard, James Slipper.
Replacements: Brandon Paenga-Amosa, Angus Bell, Allan Alaalatoa, Jeremy Williams, Carlo Tizzano, Ryan Lonergan, Tane Edmed, Filipo Daugunu
Team news: Scott Robertson has welcomed in the cavalry with the injury return of halfbacks Cam Roigard and Cortez Ratima with Roigard named to start, Codie Taylor at hooker and Patrick Tuipulotu off the bench. Caleb Clarke also makes his return moving onto the left wing pushing Will Jordan to fullback with Leroy Carter shifting to the right wing. It's forced Damien McKenzie onto the bench, while a shoulder injury to Scott Barrett has seen Fabian Holland moved to lock alongside Tupou Va'ii with Peter Lakai slotting onto the bench.
An injury crisis has forced Joe Schmidt's hand with Andrew Kellaway and Rob Valetini scratchings from his line-up. Kellaway's absence has forced Schmidt in trialing Max Jorgensen at fullback, bringing Harry Potter to the edge and retaining Corey Toole, while Tom Hooper has been moved into Valetini's empty position in the back-row with Lukhan Salakaia-Loto moving into the vacant lock position. Despite Jake Gordon's return from injury he's failed to make the 23 with Tate McDermott moving into the starting halfback role following Nic White's retirement with Ryan Lonergan moving onto the bench in what could be his first Wallabies appearance. Tane Edmed has been pushed to the reserves with James O'Connor starting fly-half, while Allan Alaalatoa, Jeremy Williams and Filipo Daugunu round out the bench.
Prediction: A week ago it felt like the Wallabies had a real chance of shocking the All Blacks and ending their three decade long Eden Park drought and nine-match losing streak to New Zealand, but with the absence of Rob Valetini, Andrew Kellaway and Will Skelton the Wallabies head to Auckland very much underdone. It's a much different story across the ditch with Scott Robertson welcoming back several key personnel including Cam Roigard, Cortez Ratima and Codie Taylor. The pressure is still most certainly on Robertson after his side's capitulation to the Springboks just two weeks ago, meaning the Wallabies enter Eden Park with little to lose, but the All Blacks are very much a wounded beast ready to make a statement, and a mish-mashed Wallabies side are prime targets. A fast start will be vital for the Wallabies if they're to keep touch with the All Blacks while New Zealand's poor finishes is an area the Wallabies will be keen to exploit. Despite the injury set backs, there will still be plenty of fireworks and the afternoon kick off will open the door to fast running rugby.
