Ireland have won the 2018 Six Nations title after Eddie Jones' England fell to defeat in France.
Joe Schmidt's side led England by five points going into the penultimate round of this year's championship and recorded an Irish record-setting eleventh victory in a row as they beat Scotland in Dublin.
That meant England had to win and score at least four tries in Paris to maintain their title ambitions but Eddie Jones' men fell well short following a drab performance.
It is the third Six Nations crown that Ireland have won in the last five years and they now head to Twickenham next Saturday with a rare Grand Slam in their sights.
Ireland have claimed a clean sweep just twice in their history -- in 1948 and 2009 -- and have only beaten England five times away from home since 1976.
Earlier, Jacob Stockdale became Ireland's record try scorer in a single Six Nations campaign as he scored his sixth try of this year's tournament in a commanding 28-8 victory over Scotland.
