WESTPAC STADIUM, Wellington -- Robbie Henshaw's British & Irish Lions tour looks to be over after he was forced off with a shoulder injury against the Hurricanes on Tuesday.
Henshaw suffered the knock after 19 minutes, and left the field to be replaced by Leigh Halfpenny. Warren Gatland, the Lions coach, said the Henshaw's prognosis looked grim.
"He doesn't look great at the moment, he's in a bit of a sling with a shoulder," Gatland said. I think there's a good chance his tour could be over.
"I think we've got enough cover within the squad at this stage not to have to replace him, if that's the case."
Henshaw started against the New Zealand Provincial Barbarians, the Highlanders and the Chiefs and then against the Hurricanes on Tuesday.
