Before all of this, on the first day, a badass weightlifter started India's campaign with a medal - Mirabai Chanu became only the second Indian medalist in weightlifting.
And then there was an unlikely bronze from Lovlina Borgohain.
India's young shooters went with high hopes and fell short. But they will get there.
