Injuries make a big impact on the outcome of NFL games. The 2025 season has already taken a toll on starting quarterbacks. Joe Burrow, Jayden Daniels, Justin Fields, Brock Purdy, and J.J. McCarthy all suffered injuries within the first two weeks of the regular season.
Entering Week 3, the Washington Commanders ruled out Daniels for Sunday's matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders due to a knee injury, coach Dan Quinn announced Friday. And in Cincinnati, Burrow had surgery to repair a turf toe injury on his left foot, coach Zac Taylor said after Friday's practice. The coach said the surgery went well.
