Rams score longest NFL play this season with 103-yard pick-six

SEATTLE -- With the Seattle Seahawks in the red zone of a tie game in the fourth quarter, Los Angeles Rams rookie safety Kamren Kinchens changed the game with a 103-yard pick-six.

On first and goal from the Seattle 6, Kinchens intercepted Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith's pass intended for Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the end zone. He took the pass out of the end zone for 103 yards for the go-ahead touchdown. Smith was pressured by linebacker Byron Young on the play.

The 103-yard interception return for a touchdown is the longest in Rams franchise history, according to ESPN Research. It was the Rams' second of the season. They join the Minnesota Vikings as the only teams in the NFL with multiple pick-sixes this season.

The score gave the Rams a 20-13 lead early in the fourth quarter.

Interception was Kinchens' first of the season. His second came two possession later, when he again intercepted a Smith pass in the red zone.
