ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- It took until the third quarter, but the Buffalo Bills scored the team's first two touchdowns Sunday in a key AFC East game against the Miami Dolphins by converting a fourth down on a 1-yard pass from quarterback Josh Allen to wide receiver Mack Hollins, plus Ray Davis scoring on a 63-yard catch-and-run.

After a slow offensive start, the Bills were finally able to capitalize in the red zone on the short throw. Kicker Tyler Bass missed the PAT -- his third such miss of the season -- as Buffalo led 12-10.
The Dolphins, however, responded on the next drive by converting a field goal to take a one-point lead.
The Bills took back the lead on a 63-yard touchdown pass from Allen to rookie running back Davis with all of the yards coming on Davis' run downfield. The touchdown is the longest reception by a Buffalo running back since 2012 (C.J. Spiller: 66-yard touchdown vs the Jets).

The Bills finished off the score with a two-point conversion on a pass from Allen to Keon Coleman.
Buffalo is now 9-for-9 on fourth down this season. Only the Bills and the Commanders (11-11) have converted 100% of their fourth-down attempts.
The conversion came after Buffalo had come up short in the red zone three times, one on an interception by cornerback Jalen Ramsey after Coleman dropped a pass and the other two resulting in field goals by Bass.

The touchdown drive followed a forced fumble by nickel corner Taron Johnson that was recovered by cornerback Kaiir Elam. The Bills now have 11 straight games with a takeaway, tied with the Lions for the longest active streak in the NFL.
