JACKSONVILLE, Florida -- With starting running back Travis Etienne Jr. sidelined with a foot injury, the Jaguars got a huge play from his backup.
JaMycal Hasty lined up out wide and ran a simple streak down the right sideline. He ran right past cornerback Marcus Peters, and quarterback Trevor Lawrence hit him perfectly in stride for a 28-yard touchdown. That gave the Jaguars a 7-6 lead -- despite being dominated statistically and at that point going 0-for-2 on third down and 0-for-1 on fourth down -- with 9:57 remaining in the first half.
