CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow gave each of his offensive linemen a unique addition to their respective jewelry collections.
Burrow gifted all 13 offensive linemen on the team's roster diamond-crusted Casio G-Shock watches.
According to jeweler Leo Frost, who has worked with Burrow and several other athletes in the past, Burrow called about a month before Christmas and wanted to get the offensive line something as a gesture of appreciation.
They settled on taking one of the most durable watches made over the last 40 years and giving it a spin.
Frost used 14-carat worth of diamonds and placed them in a white gold pave setting around the face of the watch. The back of each Casio GM6900SCM-1 that retails at $210 has the recipient's name engraved on it -- from starter Hakeem Adeniji to practice squad players such as Lamont Gaillard.
Burrow isn't the first one to take an upscale view of the G-Shock. Earlier in December, singer-songwriter John Mayer rereleased a G-Shock collaboration that sold out.
Burrow is also no stranger to jewelry. He has worked with Frost on multiple chains, including a bigger version of one that features a "9" pendant that was originally gifted by rapper Boosie Badazz. Burrow also has a diamond-crusted Cartier Santos, which Frost made and unveiled in March.
