MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Vikings defensive end Danielle Hunter was ruled out for the second half of Sunday night's 20-16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys because of a shoulder injury.
Hunter sustained the injury in the second quarter. He was initially listed as questionable to return but left for the locker room.
He was not seen on the sideline at the start of the second half and was downgraded to out.
Coach Mike Zimmer told reporters that Hunter will get an MRI on Monday.
Hunter was replaced in the lineup by backup defensive end D.J. Wonnum.
