GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers were held scoreless in the first quarter for the first time this season. Aaron Rodgers and Marquez Valdes-Scantling made up for that on the first play of the second quarter.
Rodgers uncorked a deep ball to Valdes-Scantling for a 78-yard touchdown to get the Packers on the board.
Valdes-Scantling ran by cornerback Sidney Jones, and Rodgers hit him in stride at about the Jaguars' 35-yard line. From there, Valdes-Scantling cut across the field. One of the game officials got taken out by Jaguars safety Jarrod Wilson as Valdes-Scantling worked his way across the field untouched.
Running back Aaron Jones bought Rodgers time by picking up a safety blitz by Daniel Thomas.
