ESPN Fantasy Projection: Brooks will miss the entire 2025 season. The 2024 second-round pick spent most of his rookie year recovering from a torn ACL suffered while at Texas. He returned in Week 12 and handled 12 touches in three games prior to re-tearing the same ACL. Only 22-years-old and skilled as both a rusher and receiver, Brooks figures to eventually get his shot at a lead back role in the pros. He's likely to enter 2026 fully healthy and in a competition with Chuba Hubbard and Trevor Etienne in the Carolina backfield. Brooks should remain on dynasty rosters.
