Spin: In a meaningless game for the Cowboys. Vaughn saw a season-high workload and delivered a career high in rushing yards. The 2023 sixth-round pick appeared in only seven games this season and managed just 88 scrimmage yards on 20 touches, once again serving as a depth option in the backfield. Rico Dowdle will be a free agent this offseason and may have priced himself out of Dallas' plans with a strong campaign, but it's highly unlikely Vaughn will head into 2025 at the top of the depth chart.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Vaughn's rookie season amounted to little production, as the sixth-round draft pick from Kansas State saw precious few touches during the first month of the season, then was a healthy inactive most of the rest of the way. The diminutive Vaughn (5-foot-6, 175 pounds) was expected to handle change-of-pace duties and catch passes, but he ended up with only 30 touches in seven games, including seven receptions. Tony Pollard is gone, but Ezekiel Elliott has returned after a year away and Rico Dowdle is also in the way for meaningful touches. Vaughn has little value.
