Fantasy Football
News: 1 day agoAddison had five receptions on eight targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 win over Seattle.
Spin: Addison's fantasy performance was overshadowed by Justin Jefferson's massive 10-144-2 receiving line Sunday, but the former still produced worthwhile numbers for all intents and purposes. The 22-year-old Addison upped his cumulative production to 56-806-8 in 13 games played this season, providing a solid No. 2 option for quarterback Sam Darnold in Minnesota's potent offense. Addison should be in the starting conversation in most fantasy formats ahead of next Sunday's tilt against Green Bay.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Addison had some ups-and-downs in his rookie season. Playing with four different QBs and taking over WR1 responsibilities while Justin Jefferson was out, Addison turned in seven performances with at least 15 fantasy points, third most among rookie wide receivers. Most impressively, his 10 touchdowns were tied for fourth most among all wideouts. Expect those touchdowns to come down with Jefferson fully healthy and Kirk Cousins in Atlanta. While super-talented, Addison is the No. 2 pass-catcher for a journeyman QB at arguably the deepest position in fantasy football, so it's best to view him as a WR4 or WR5 entering draft season.
