News: 5 days agoWaddle secured two of three targets for 37 yards in the Dolphins' 34-19 win over the Raiders on Sunday.

Spin: Waddle recorded double-digit gains on both his catches, but he was once again very modestly involved. The 2021 first-round pick hasn't topped 57 receiving yards since Week 1 despite being healthy and holding down his usual No. 2 receiver role, but he'll have a fresh opportunity to bounce back against a vulnerable Patriots defense at home in Week 12.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Waddle has been superb since being selected sixth overall in the 2021 NFL draft. Since Tyreek Hill came to Miami two seasons ago, Waddle has averaged 7.0 targets and 14.7 fantasy points per game. He's also been very efficient over that time frame, catching 66.5% of his targets. In 2023, under head coach and playcaller Mike McDaniel, the Dolphins' offense was second in passing yards per game. That trend should continue in 2024 and Waddle will be actively involved. He's projected for the second-most targets on the team behind Hill and is a fringe fantasy WR2.
