Spin: Jones had to work for his 93 combined yards from scrimmage Sunday, handling 23 total touches en route to modest fantasy numbers. The steady veteran failed to extend his scoring streak to five games, which is the only blemish on an otherwise quality outing. The 29-year-old is now up to 1,046 rushing yards through 15 starts as a Viking, giving him his fourth 1,000-yard season as a pro. Jones will get an opportunity to have a revenge game against the club that let him walk in free agency this past offseason, the Green Bay Packers, next Sunday.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Jones joins the Vikings after spending his first seven seasons with the Packers. The 29-year-old is coming off of his least-productive season since his rookie year, missing six games due to a hamstring injury and MCL sprain. Jones is looking to rebound for a Vikings team desperately in need of punch at the position, after their RBs ranked 30th in scrimmage yards and touchdowns last season. Jones' touchdowns and fantasy points per game have decreased four years in a row. Still, Jones will be the RB1 in a Vikings offense that will use him in both the running and passing game. With that dual-purpose workload and a high likelihood for positive touchdown regression, Jones is best viewed as a low-end RB2.
