Texans safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson was carted off because of a lower right leg injury during practice. Tests revealed his ACL was still intact, sources told ESPN.

After he suffered a broken bone in his neck July 28 in the first padded practice, the Cowboys have placed guard Rob Jones on injured reserve, ending his chance of a return in 2025.
