Welcome to the NFL's annual scramble for top talent.
Less than two months remain before the 2018 draft (April 26-28), when teams will jockey for the prospects who will make up the majority of the league's rosters in the coming years. Free agency, of course, is a supplementary exercise.
What follows is a subjective ranking of the high-end players still available, and the ones who have already agreed to terms.
Note: Players no longer on the market will be marked with asterisks. Top-tier players have also been added to the original ranking following their releases.
Jump to: 1-25 | 26-50 | 51-75 | 76-100 | Top free agents by position

1. Kirk Cousins, QB*
Headed to: Minnesota Vikings | Age heading into 2018 season: 30
After two years under the franchise tag with combined earnings of nearly $44 million, Cousins will experience a rarity for upper-level quarterbacks: a true bidding war for his services. The Redskins have moved on to Alex Smith, whose acquisition will become official when the new league year begins March 14. Cousins could set a new bar for NFL contracts, perhaps in excess of $30 million annually.

2. Drew Brees, QB*
Re-signing with: New Orleans Saints | Age: 39
Triplett: Breaking down Brees, all Saints signings
It's difficult to imagine Brees and the Saints parting ways, especially with the team again competitive and without his heir on the roster. Brees himself has said he doesn't anticipate testing the open market, but it'll be a little tricky. Brees' contract did not allow the Saints to use the franchise tag, so they'll have to meet his price for a standard contract before a March 14 deadline that would accelerate $18 million in salary-cap space. The situation provides an opening for Brees to test the market if he changes his mind.

3. Case Keenum, QB*
Headed to: Denver Broncos | Age: 30
With a new offensive coordinator, and a decidedly muted public stance from coach Mike Zimmer, it's clear that Keenum's return is far from guaranteed. Would the Vikings move on from a quarterback who finished the season with the NFL's second-highest Total QBR (69.5) and led them to the NFC Championship Game? At the very least, the Vikings don't value Keenum enough to lock him down with a franchise tag.

4. Andrew Norwell, G*
Headed to: Jacksonville Jaguars | Age: 26
Norwell picked a pretty good year to earn his first All-Pro honors. When you look at the five-year, $60 million deal the Browns gave to Kevin Zeitler (who has never made All-Pro or even the Pro Bowl) in 2017, you understand the value Norwell would find on the open market.

5. Jimmy Graham, TE*
Headed to: Green Bay Packers | Age: 31
Although he never matched his early-career production after the 2015 trade to the Seahawks -- in part because of a serious patellar tendon injury that season -- Graham remains a major weapon in the red zone. His 10 touchdown receptions (on only 95 targets) in 2017 were tied for second in the league. Someone will see major value there.

6. Ndamukong Suh, DT*
Headed to: Los Angeles Rams | Age: 31
Suh can still be an elite-level interior player, even if he doesn't produce eye-popping sack numbers. He keeps himself in excellent shape and, when invested, requires the attention of multiple blockers. Any honest appraisal of him must note his inconsistent effort level, but overall, he is one of the few potential difference-makers available on the market.

7. Sheldon Richardson, DT*
Headed to: Minnesota Vikings | Age: 27
A preseason trade from the Jets to Seattle, if nothing else, gave Richardson tape in both the 4-3 and 3-4 defenses. The Seahawks, who gave up a second-round pick and receiver Jermaine Kearse to get Richardson, might want him as a younger replacement for Michael Bennett. Richardson made a few splashy plays in Seattle, but he probably wasn't dominant enough to spark a frenzied bidding war.

8. Tyrann Mathieu, S*
Headed to: Houston Texans | Age: 26
Although he has been slowed at times by knee injuries, Mathieu started all 16 games last season and is as young as anyone on the free agent market. Safeties are critical to current defensive schemes and he should find many suitors.

9. Nate Solder, OT*
Headed to: New York Giants | Age: 30
Solder finished the regular season on a strong note but is undeniably an inconsistent player who would have never been a candidate to hit the open market if his play had smoothed out. With that said, it's rare for even a capable left tackle to reach free agency. Solder would be a popular target.

10. Trumaine Johnson, CB*
Headed to: New York Jets | Age: 28
Cimini: Breaking down the Johnson deal
Johnson earned $30.7 million while playing under the Rams' franchise tag over the past two seasons. He was a reliable starter, but he didn't approach his seven-interception performance of 2015 -- he had just one in 2016 and two in 2017 -- and has yet to make a Pro Bowl.

11. Star Lotulelei, DT*
Headed to: Buffalo Bills | Age: 28
After five years of anchoring the middle of the Carolina defense, Lotulelei could be ready to test the market. The Panthers would have to decide whether to add another significant contract to a defensive line that already includes Kawann Short's monster deal ($16.1 million annual average).

12. Allen Robinson, WR*
Headed to: Chicago Bears | Age: 25
A torn ACL limited Robinson to one catch in 2017, but it occurred early enough for him to be fully recovered in time for training camp this summer. Giving significant money to a player returning from a serious injury is tricky, but Robinson will generate a ton of interest. Catching 201 passes from Blake Bortles in three seasons (2014-16) is impressive.

13. Sammy Watkins, WR*
Headed to: Kansas City Chiefs | Age: 25
After a 1,047-yard season for the Bills in 2015, Watkins combined for 1,023 receiving yards over the next two years for the Bills and Rams. In other words, his career arc moved in the wrong direction as free agency approached. But his size (6-foot-1, 211 pounds) and efficiency (eight touchdowns on 39 receptions last season) will intrigue some shoppers.

14. Dontari Poe, DT*
Headed to: Carolina Panthers | Age: 28
Poe proved reliable, if nothing else, after signing a one-year deal with the Falcons. He was on the field for 745 snaps, the second most on the Falcons' defensive line, and started all 16 games.

15. Sam Bradford, QB*
Headed to: Arizona Cardinals | Age: 30
Bradford demonstrated in Week 1 what he can do when healthy, carving up the Saints for 346 yards and three touchdowns. But after a long history of knee injuries caught up to him, forcing surgery and limiting him to two starts this season, it's fair to wonder how a team could commit to him for anything more than an incentive-laden flier. Mike Zimmer has painted a discouraging picture recently by saying that Bradford's knee condition is "degenerative."

16. Bashaud Breeland, CB
2017 team: Washington Redskins | Age: 26
The Redskins might not be able, or willing, to squeeze in the market-level contract Breeland has earned as a four-year starter. They're already paying fellow cornerback Josh Norman an average of $15 million per year, and they have several young players who could step in. That could make Breeland one of the more desirable defensive players available.

17. Aaron Colvin, CB*
Headed to: Houston Texans | Age: 26
Colvin has been an excellent nickelback for the Jaguars but won't be a starter as long as Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye are on the roster. Does that mean Colvin could be looking to play elsewhere, for more money and playing time? It's something to consider.

18. Kyle Fuller, CB*
Re-signing with: Chicago Bears | Age: 26
The Bears declined Fuller's fifth-year option for 2018 based on his 2016 knee injury, but on Tuesday they decided to use the transition tag to maintain some control over his movement. The Bears can match any offer he might receive. The tag itself is worth $12.97 million. This is all based on Fuller's successful return in 2017 to start all 16 games.

19. Trey Burton, TE*
Headed to: Chicago Bears | Age: 26
The understudy to starter Zach Ertz has enough versatility as a blocker and as a receiver -- he has caught 60 passes in the past two seasons -- to merit a starting job elsewhere. During the 2017 regular season, one out of every five of his receptions went for a touchdown. He also threw a pretty cool touchdown pass in Super Bowl LII.

20. Eric Reid, S
2017 team: San Francisco 49ers | Age: 26
Reid will provide another test case for the ongoing impact of NFL player protests during the national anthem, as Reid was one of the organizing partners of the initial movement. We all know what happened to his friend, colleague and former teammate Colin Kaepernick. Reid would be a prized target, but even he understands the potential limits on the market for him.

21. Teddy Bridgewater, QB*
Headed to: New York Jets | Age: 25
Healthy but without a meaningful snap in two full seasons, Bridgewater poses a conundrum on the market. The Vikings' decision to deactivate him for the playoffs was notable. At best, Bridgewater's next team will get potentially a 10-year starter with minimal compensation required. At worst, they sign a rusty and less mobile version of the player we last saw in 2015.

22. Jordy Nelson, WR*
Headed to: Oakland Raiders | Age: 33
Nelson has struggled with injuries in the past three years, losing 2015 to an ACL tear and pushing through multiple ailments during a 482-yard season in 2017. But it's hard to imagine that there isn't a place for him in a scheme that caters to his ball skills.

23. AJ McCarron, QB*
Headed to: Buffalo Bills | Age: 28
After winning unrestricted-free-agency status via grievance, McCarron is set to enter the market under an ideal scenario as a backup quarterback. He has just enough positive experience -- an 89.7 passer rating in four 2015 starts, including the playoffs -- to intrigue teams as a possible starter. And he doesn't have enough playing time to have exposed the reason(s) the Bengals never played him ahead of starter Andy Dalton.

24. Dion Lewis, RB*
Headed to: Tennessee Titans | Age: 27
Teams don't often make significant investments in veteran running backs, but Lewis' versatility will make him an attractive target for some team. He ran for a career-high 896 yards and six touchdowns last season while also catching 32 passes for another three scores.

25. Malcolm Butler, CB*
Headed to: Tennessee Titans | Age: 28
Butler's life-changing interception in Super Bowl XLIX catapulted him to be a three-year starter, but the Patriots' decision to sign free agent Stephon Gilmore last offseason called into question their long-term plan for Butler. So did the decision to bench him for Super Bowl LII. Even if the Patriots still think highly of him, do they want two highly paid cornerbacks on their roster? Butler isn't a top-five player at his position, but he is better than most who reach the open market.

26. Muhammad Wilkerson, DE*
Headed to: Green Bay Packers | Age: 28
In terms of pure talent, Wilkerson is one of the best players on this list. But myriad disciplinary issues with the Jets will require a significant vetting process for interested teams.

27. Ryan Jensen, C*
Headed to: Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Age: 27
Jensen emerged as a full-time starter just in time for his contract year, proving to be a nasty blocker and an effective leader. Other than left tackle, upgrading the center position is probably the most effective way to improve an offensive line.

28. Paul Richardson, WR*
Headed to: Washington Redskins | Age: 26
Richardson stepped into the starter's role following the trade of Kearse and proved to be a big-play option. His 16.0 yards per catch ranked eighth in the NFL among all pass-catchers with at least 40 receptions. Whether the Seahawks will compete for him, with Doug Baldwin due $8.75 million and Tyler Lockett still on his rookie contract, remains to be seen.

29. Jeremy Maclin, WR
2017 team: Baltimore Ravens | Age: 30
His production has decreased for three consecutive seasons, and his time in Baltimore can be considered nothing but a disappointment. But Maclin has many fans in the league, and based on the remaining talent at the position, should have some suitors.

30. Michael Crabtree, WR*
Headed to: Baltimore Ravens | Age: 30
The Raiders didn't see a fit for Crabtree in Jon Gruden's west-coast based offense, but someone will find value in his playmaking near the end zone. Crabtree caught eight touchdowns last season and has a total of 25 scores in the past 46 games.

31. Terrelle Pryor Sr., WR
2017 team: Washington Redskins | Age: 29
An ankle injury that ultimately required surgery cut Pryor's 2017 season short and scuttled the bet he took on a one-year deal to increase his value for 2018. Negotiating off a 20-catch season is tough, but the opportunity exists for significant value if he has recovered and can perform like he did in his 77-catch season for the Browns in 2016.

32. Carlos Hyde, RB*
Headed to: Cleveland Browns | Age: 27
Hyde has rushed for 1,926 yards and 14 touchdowns since the start of the 2016 season. He also caught 59 passes in coach Kyle Shanahan's offense in 2017, demonstrating a new versatility. Veteran running backs rarely get much interest on the open market, but Hyde would be one of the better values available.

33. Justin Pugh, G*
Headed to: Arizona Cardinals | Age: 28
A poorly timed back injury could mute free-agent interest in a player who could be considered the Giants' best offensive lineman in recent years. He has avoided surgery, but after sitting out eight games in a contract year, teams could try leveraging his value.

34. Nigel Bradham, LB*
Re-signing with: Philadelphia Eagles | Age: 29
News: Eagles keep Bradham
Bradham's age will lead some teams to make him a secondary target. But he has been productive in Jim Schwartz's defense in Philadelphia, totaling nearly 200 tackles in 31 starts.

35. Anthony Hitchens, LB*
Headed to: Kansas City Chiefs | Age: 26
Hitchens' name won't register with too many fans outside the Cowboys' biosphere, especially with external focus on teammate Sean Lee. But Hitchens has demonstrated he can play both the middle and the weakside spot and proved durable after missing four games with a knee injury last season.

36. Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE*
Headed to: Jacksonville Jaguars | Age: 25
Any team considering an investment in Seferian-Jenkins will have to investigate his considerable off-field history when he was with the Buccaneers and at the University of Washington. But he seemed to put things together in 2017 for the Jets, catching 50 passes in 13 games, more than twice his previous career high for a season.

37. Morgan Burnett, S*
Headed to: Pittsburgh Steelers | Age: 29
Smart and big (6-foot-1), Burnett is in some ways an ideal player to stabilize an inexperienced back end. The biggest drawback has been a history of minor injuries that take him off the field for short stretches. He has missed at least one game in each of his past five seasons.

38. Marqise Lee, WR*
Re-signing with: Jacksonville Jaguars | Age: 26
Any receiver who has put up decent numbers in the Jaguars' offense in recent years merits a close look, and Lee has caught 119 passes in the past two seasons. With Robinson also a free agent, it's possible the Jaguars will allow Lee to seek offers elsewhere.

39. Rashaan Melvin, CB*
Headed to: Oakland Raiders | Age: 28
Melvin broke through in 2017 with three interceptions and 13 passes defensed in 10 starts. Teams crave frames like his (6-foot-2) at the position, and some team -- possibly the Colts -- will step out for him.

40. Kenny Vaccaro, S
2017 team: New Orleans Saints | Age: 27
Creative coaches can put Vaccaro into all kinds of productive positions as his career transitions into a hybrid safety/linebacker role. The Saints' salary-cap situation, as well as Brees' pending contract expiration, makes it reasonably possible that Vaccaro will be available on the open market.

41. Adrian Clayborn, DE*
Headed to: New England Patriots | Age: 30
Clayborn's age and his somewhat-misleading sack numbers will force more analysis than typically required for veteran pass-rushers. Six of his career-high 9.5 sacks this season came in one game, against the schematically-stubborn Cowboys. But even a part-time (526 snaps) veteran pass-rusher can be a valuable commodity.

42. Weston Richburg, C*
Headed to: San Francisco 49ers | Age: 27
A concussion limited Richburg to four games and landed him on injured reserve, a scary long-term injury in the current climate. But he told reporters that he was cleared to play weeks before the season ended. If teams are satisfied with his condition, he would be one of the better offensive linemen available.

43. Jerick McKinnon, RB*
Headed to: San Francisco 49ers | Age: 26
Running backs aren't usually hot commodities in free agency, but the few who do receive interest are usually versatile. McKinnon, once a quarterback at Georgia Southern, caught 51 passes for 421 yards and 2 touchdowns last season and has a total of 142 receptions in 58 career games.

44. Eric Ebron, TE*
Headed to: Indianapolis Colts | Age: 25
Ebron has struggled with drops and isn't a top-end blocker, but has shown flashes of being a true downfield playmaker. If he can even out his performance, he could be one of the NFL's better pass-catching tight ends.

45. Morris Claiborne, CB*
Re-signing with: New York Jets | Age: 28
Claiborne resurrected his career in 2017 simply by remaining on the field. He started 15 games, his highest total since 2012. He has said he wants to return to the Jets, and that might make the most sense for him, but big(ger) corners usually have a market.

46. Avery Williamson, LB*
Headed to: New York Jets | Age: 26
News: Jets to sign Williamson
Williamson has been a steady and reliable defensive anchor for the past four seasons. He has missed only one game while averaging 94 tackles per year.

47. Josh Kline, G*
Re-signing with: Tennessee Titans | Age: 28
News: Titans re-signing Kline
The former Patriots starter found a home in the Titans' run-oriented scheme over the past two years. Since the start of the 2016 season, during which Kline made 30 starts, the Titans rushed for 4,020 yards -- the third most in the NFL over that span.

48. E.J. Gaines, CB*
Headed to: Cleveland Browns | Age: 26
Gaines proved a strong competitor and playmaker after being acquired from the Rams in the Watkins deal. Gaines will attract significant interest if the Bills don't retain him.

49. Jordan Matthews, WR
2017 team: Buffalo Bills | Age: 26
A training camp trade from the Eagles and a late-season knee injury conspired for an unproductive contract year in Buffalo. But don't forget that with his health and a more productive passing offense, Matthews caught 225 passes in three seasons for the Eagles.

50. Patrick Robinson, CB*
Headed to: New Orleans Saints | Age: 31
Although he is older than most desirable free agents, Robinson put together a strong season as the Eagles' slot cornerback and should have several more productive years remaining. In 16 games, including 8 starts and 673 total plays, he intercepted 4 passes and defended a total of 18.

51. Jack Mewhort, G*
Re-signing with: Indianapolis Colts | Age: 27
A season-ending knee injury in a contract year is far from ideal. Mewhort played only five games in 2017, but assuming he'll be in good health, he can step in as a more than capable starter.

52. Mike Wallace, WR*
Headed to: Philadelphia Eagles| Age: 32
Wallace is on the wrong side of 30, and his second season with the Ravens was less productive than the first, with just 52 catches for 748 yards and 4 touchdowns. But as Ted Ginn Jr. has proved, there will always be a market for speed. Wallace can still get down the field.

53. Preston Brown, LB*
Headed to: Buffalo Bills | Age: 25
A reliable and durable tackling machine, Smith didn't miss a single game in four seasons with the Bills. He amassed 512 tackles over that period and will have a market, possibly from Buffalo's AFC East rivals in New England.

54. Tre Boston, S
2017 team: Los Angeles Chargers | Age: 26
After making the most of a one-year deal with the Chargers, Boston could have a chance to cash in. He set career highs with 5 interceptions and 8 passes defensed in 15 starts.

55. Brent Grimes, CB*
Re-signing with: Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Age: 35
Can Grimes follow the difficult Terence Newman model of playing solid coverage into his late 30s? Grimes has at least three interceptions in each of the past five seasons. He shouldn't be ruled out of the 2018 mix.

56. Prince Amukamara, CB*
Headed to: Chicago Bears | Age: 29
Amukamara remains a serviceable starter but could be on the verge of his third team change in as many offseasons. He hasn't intercepted a pass or forced a fumble since 2015.

57. Tyler Eifert, TE*
Re-signing with: Cincinnati Bengals | Age: 28
Injuries have limited Eifert to two or fewer starts in three of his five seasons, and he missed most of 2017 because of surgeries to repair his back and later to remove a cyst from his knee. But when healthy, he can be a dynamic pass-catcher. The injury history will limit the cost to sign him.

58. Isaiah Crowell, RB*
Headed to: New York Jets | Age: 25
Undrafted in 2014, Crowell went on to rush for 3,118 yards in four seasons with the Browns. He runs hard and could use a change of scenery, even to a backfield where he shares carries or backs up an established starter.

59. Zach Brown, LB*
Re-signing with: Washington Redskins | Age: 28
The Redskins already have re-signed linebacker Mason Foster. Do they also plan to spend on Brown, whose speed and athleticism helped their run defense? Plenty of teams could use a sideline-to-sideline middle linebacker.

60. Tahir Whitehead, LB*
Headed to: Oakland Raiders | Age: 28
Whitehead has played in the middle and on the weakside during his six seasons with the Lions, the last four of which were as a full-time starter. He had arguably his best season in 2017 but could get squeezed out under new coach Matt Patricia.

61. Andre Smith, OL*
Headed to: Arizona Cardinals | Age: 31
Weinfuss: Smith a gamble at right tackle
Although he is aging and has an uneven injury history, Smith's versatility makes him a decent target for a team that needs a veteran who can hold his own at guard or tackle on at least a part-time basis.

62. Justin Bethel, CB*
Headed to: Atlanta Falcons | Age: 28
News: Falcons add Bethel
Bethel failed to hold down the starting job opposite Patrick Peterson after five years of grooming, albeit with some unfortunate injuries along the way. But he could prove valuable from a depth perspective given his experience.

63. Josh McCown, QB*
Headed to: New York Jets | Age: 39
It's pretty incredible for a soon-to-be 39-year-old non-kicker to be on this list, but McCown remains a viable option for a team in need of a short-term starter. He threw a career-high 18 touchdown passes in 13 starts for the Jets last season.

64. Julius Peppers, DE*
Re-signing with: Carolina Panthers | Age: 38
Peppers hit 11.0 sacks at age 37. Why not come back for another season at age 38? You're never too old if you can rush the passer.

65. Demario Davis, LB*
Headed to: New Orleans Saints | Age: 29
Davis rewarded the Jets for bringing him back on a one-year deal in 2017. He responded with a career-high 135 tackles and five sacks and is still young enough to contribute for several more years.

66. Haloti Ngata, DT*
Headed to: Philadelphia Eagles | Age: 34
Ngata was still going strong in 2017, especially as a run-stopper, before suffering a season-ending biceps tear. Defensive tackle is a position from which players can continue to produce, if not thrive, into their 30s.

67. D.J. Fluker, OL*
Headed to: Seattle Seahawks | Age: 27
A toe injury cut short Fluker's "prove-it" season with the Giants, but he put enough on tape to confirm he has a future as a starter.

68. Denico Autry, DE*
Headed to: Indianapolis Colts | Age: 28
A career-high five sacks and seven defensed passes opened a few eyes. Autry is around the ball a lot.

69. TJ Carrie, CB*
Headed to: Cleveland Browns | Age: 28
McManamon: Carrie part of push to improve secondary
Although he started only six games, Carrie was a full-time player in 2017. His 977 defensive snaps ranked second on the team and made him one of the most consistent players on a shaky defense.

70. DaQuan Jones, DT*
Re-signing with: Tennessee Titans | Age: 26
Jones is a noted run-stopper who managed a career-high 3.5 sacks in 12 games and might still have room to grow. A biceps injury that cost him four games last season should heal by the start of the 2018 season.

71. NaVorro Bowman, LB
2017 team: Oakland Raiders | Age: 30
Despite years of injuries, Bowman played 10 really solid games as the Raiders' middle linebacker in 2017. Age and health are big factors, but he could plug a hole for someone.

72. John Brown, WR*
Headed to: Baltimore Ravens | Age: 28
His productivity decreased in each of the past two seasons, from 65 receptions in 2015 to 39 in 2016 and 21 in 2017, but the same could be said of the entire Cardinals offense.

73. Cameron Fleming, OL*
Headed to: Dallas Cowboys | Age: 26
With 20 starts over the past four seasons, Fleming might appeal to a team looking for an affordable full-time player.

74. Chris Hubbard, OL*
Headed to: Cleveland Browns | Age: 27
News: Browns to sign Hubbard
A swing tackle with 14 starts in the past two seasons, Hubbard will probably get a chance to start with a new team.

75. Trent Murphy, LB*
Headed to: Buffalo Bills | Age: 27
Multiple torn knee ligaments cost Murphy his 2017 season, and he was also suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances. But his nine sacks in 2016 will stick out to teams willing to take a risk on pass-rushers.

76. Rex Burkhead, RB*
Re-signing with: New England Patriots | Age: 28
A career-high 8 touchdowns -- 5 on the ground and 3 via receptions -- brought new light to Burkhead as a multiskilled backfield weapon.

77. Kony Ealy, DE
2017 team: New York Jets | Age: 26
After making his way from Carolina through New England to the Jets, Ealy made some plays despite modest playing time. In 428 snaps, Ealy knocked down nine passes at the line of scrimmage.

78. Ryan Grant, WR*
Headed to: Indianapolis Colts | Age: 27
Grant is a favorite of Redskins coach Jay Gruden, but there could be an external market after he set career highs in starts (7), receptions (45), yards (573) and touchdowns (4) in 2017.

79. Albert Wilson, WR*
Headed to: Miami Dolphins | Age: 26
A career-high 42 receptions last season showed Wilson has a future as a playmaker, albeit a bit undersized at 5-foot-9.

80. Danny Amendola, WR*
Headed to: Miami Dolphins | Age: 32
His 659 receiving yards in 2017 was a high for his time with the Patriots, but after several years of pay cuts, Amendola could have more lucrative options elsewhere.

81. Kareem Martin, DE/LB*
Headed to: New York Giants | Age: 26
News: Giants to sign Martin
At 272 pounds, Martin is better suited as a 4-3 defensive end than a 3-4 outside linebacker. But his minimal productivity as a pass-rusher -- 4.5 sacks in four seasons -- requires closer inspection and probably a nuanced scheme fit.

82. Todd Davis, LB*
Re-signing with: Denver Broncos | Age: 26
Teams will no doubt notice how Davis played through injuries to start 14 games and finish among the Broncos' top tacklers in 2017. He can step into most any middle linebacker job.

83. Bennie Logan, DT
2017 team: Kansas City Chiefs | Age: 28
After signing a one-year deal with the Chiefs, Logan didn't have a good enough season to merit a big payday in 2018. But he can be a decent interior presence.

84. Jeremy Hill, RB*
Headed to: New England Patriots | Age: 25
Hill's days in Cincinnati were numbered the moment the Bengals drafted Joe Mixon. He'll have a market as a hard-running first- and second-down back.

85. Josh Sitton, G*
Headed to: Miami Dolphins | Age: 32
Although he has missed three games in each of the past two seasons, Sitton can still be a short-term starter on a good offense.

86. Spencer Long, C*
Headed to: New York Jets | Age: 27
Cimini: Jets find new center with Long
A quadriceps injury limited Long to seven games last season, but he is expected to be fully recovered and ready to compete for a starting job.

87. Barkevious Mingo, LB*
Headed to: Seattle Seahawks | Age: 27
Mingo has never reached his potential as a three-down defensive playmaker, and after three teams in three years, he qualifies as a journeyman. But his athletic versatility is a strong cross-scheme allure.

88. Erik Walden, LB
2017 team: Tennessee Titans | Age: 33
With four sacks in limited playing time last season, Walden suggested he could provide a spot pass rush even as he gets beyond the typical age for players at his position.

89. Nickell Robey-Coleman, CB*
Re-signing with: Los Angeles Rams | Age: 26
Gonzalez: Robey-Coleman completes elite CB trio
A solid third cornerback, with four interceptions in the past two seasons, who is still young enough to merit a look as a full-time starter.

90. Nate Allen, S
2017 team: Miami Dolphins | Age: 30
A calf injury ended Allen's 2017 season after seven starts. That came a year after a disappointing tenure with the Raiders. He is three years removed from his last productive season but young enough to attract some interest.

91. Pernell McPhee, LB*
Headed to: Washington Redskins | Age: 29
News: Redskins sign McPhee
Microfracture surgery late in 2015 diminished his impact afterward, limiting him to eight sacks over the past two seasons. But if healthy, McPhee will find that there is always a market for situational pass-rushers.

92. Taylor Gabriel, WR*
Headed to: Chicago Bears | Age: 27
A resourceful offensive coordinator will find a role, however nuanced, for an undersized but proven playmaker. Gabriel scored seven touchdowns for the Falcons in their run to Super Bowl LI.

93. Donte Moncrief, WR*
Headed to: Jacksonville Jaguars | Age: 25
Moncrief followed up his 64-catch season in 2015 with 56 receptions over the next two seasons combined. That his downturn roughly mirrored Andrew Luck's shoulder injury suggests he could be productive again with an established quarterback.

94. Beau Allen, DT*
Headed to: Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Age: 26
News: Allen to sign with Bucs
Allen can provide reliable depth at a position where teams often rotate players based on playcalls.

95. Alex Okafor, DE*
Re-signing with: New Orleans Saints | Age: 27
After resurrecting his career as an outside pass-rusher, Okafor suffered a torn Achilles tendon that will depress his free-agent value. But if he's healthy, he would be a relative bargain as a pass-rusher.

96. Frank Gore, RB*
Headed to: Miami Dolphins | Age: 35
News: Gore signs with Dolphins
Normally, a running back in his mid-30s sits on the furthest periphery of the free-agent class. But Gore nearly eclipsed 1,000 yards at age 34, and there will be room for him in the NFL next season if he wants to play.

97. Michael Thomas, DB*
Headed to: New York Giants | Age: 28
Thomas could help as a spot starter at safety, but his real value is as a dominant special-teams cover man. He might be the NFL's best.

98. Doug Martin, RB*
Headed to: Oakland Raiders | Age: 29
News: Raiders add Martin
Martin has played six seasons. He rushed for at least 1,400 yards in two of them and between 400 and 500 yards in the other four. The Buccaneers had enough. Will another team bite?

99. LeGarrette Blount, RB*
Headed to: Detroit Lions | Age: 31
Age and the perception that he can't be explosive will always conspire to keep Blount's price down. But the bottom line is that the past two Super Bowl champions found important roles for him.

100. Marcus Gilchrist, S*
Headed to: Oakland Raiders | Age: 29
Gilchrist has been a full-time starter for three teams over the past five seasons. He could find a new home in 2018 with a team in need of a relatively affordable plug-in.
Note: QB, Jay Cutler, DT Chris Baker, RB Adrian Peterson, C John Sullivan, PK Sebastian Janikowski, CB Ross Cockrell and OL Senio Kelemete were ranked, in order, before DT Ndamukong Suh, S Tyrann Mathieu, WR Jordy Nelson, WR Jeremy Maclin, WR Michael Crabtree and TE Eric Ebron.
