The Ravens announced they have released Justin Tucker. Tucker, the most accurate kicker in NFL history, is under NFL investigation for sexual misconduct. Tucker's release comes nine days after Baltimore drafted Tyler Loop. Ravens GM Eric DeCosta: "Sometimes football decisions are incredibly difficult, and this is one of those instances. Considering our current roster, we have made the tough decision to release Justin Tucker."

Julian Edelman has been voted by fans as a 2025 inductee to the Patriots Hall of Fame. He joins former coach Bill Parcells (1993-1996) in this year's class. Edelman won the fan vote over kicker Adam Vinatieri (1996-2005) and offensive lineman Logan Mankins (2005-2013), who were previously selected as finalists by the Patriots Hall of Fame committee.

Grey Zabel is the Seahawks' highest-drafted interior O-lineman since Steve Hutchinson (17th in 2001). The Hall of Fame guard, who's now in Seattle's personnel department, played a key role in scouting Zabel. Now they have another connection: Zabel will wear Hutchinson's number. He said the team's equipment staff had the idea for him to take 76. He wanted to first get Hutchinson's blessing. "He was all for it and super excited for it," Zabel said. "No better number to wear in Seattle history."

The pranks keep coming: It turns out that Abdul Carter also got a prank call during the draft in which the caller said he was from the Jaguars and they were going to select him with the No. 2 overall pick. “It’s unfortunate that these private numbers are getting to the people making the prank calls", said Carter’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus. “Abdul and I knew it was BS and didn’t even tell his family about the call.” Moments later, Carter got the real call from the Giants, who picked third.

The Seahawks are exercising their fifth-year option on LT Charles Cross, a source confirms to ESPN. OverTheCap.com projects that to cost $17.56M for 2026. The ninth overall pick in 2022, Cross has started 48 of a possible 51 games. He becomes the first player drafted by the Seahawks to have his option exercised since the NFL instituted those for first-round picks in 2011. They declined their options on James Carpenter, Bruce Irvin, Germain Ifedi, Rashaad Penny, L.J. Collier and Jordyn Brooks.
