Chris Paul made history during the 2024-25 NBA season. The 12-time All-Star started every game for the San Antonio Spurs in his 20th season in the league, becoming the first player to make 82 starts that deep into his career.
Hall of Famer John Stockton held the previous record after starting every game for the Utah Jazz in 2002-03, his 19th and final season in the NBA.
Paul is one of three players to have a season with 82 appearances at age 39 or older, joining Stockton and Michael Jordan. Jordan turned 39 in his final season in 2002-03, playing in all 82 games -- making 67 starts -- for the Washington Wizards.
